Department Mourns Loss of Dr. Tom Wright

Associate Professor of Psychology, Tom Wright, died on February 20, 2003.  He will be greatly missed by his students and colleagues.  Tom was born on November 13, 1942 in Edgemont, South Dakota.  He received his A.B. from Stanford University in 1965 and went on to work with Julian Rotter at the University of Connecticut where he received his M.A. in 1966 and Ph.D. in 1972.  After serving on the faculty at the University of Connecticut, Tom moved to Ohio University in 1972 as an Assistant Professor.  He joined the clinical faculty of The Catholic University of America in 1974 where he remained until his death.  He served as Director of Clinical Psychology Training from 1984 to 1990. We deeply regret the loss of our colleague, teacher, mentor, and dear friend.
